Our Background
Judy's has been operating in the Reno area for over 40 years. It all started with Judy Wyss and continues today with her daughter Angelina Wyss. Our roots began at Anderson Elementary, moving to Huffaker and then to Hunsberger and Lenz.
We pride ourselves on creating a quality program that benefits the families we serve. We understand every family is different and create our business model on supporting our differences. Join us full time or pick the days that work best for you. We know everyone has a different work schedule and sometimes you just need a few days a week - we support you and your work and family life. If you are divorced and require bi-weekly service, we accommodate that too.
Judy dedicated herself to creating a program for before and after school and camps that fit the needs of families in Northern Nevada. Although she has retired, she still visits the schools delivering snack and engaging with the children.
Angelina Wyss - Director
Angelina spent 16 years in marketing as VP of Marketing for Wingfield NV Group and upon joining her mom continued to do consulting work. Now full time, she enjoys playing soccer, playing cards and having fun with the kids at each school. Angee and her husband Bryon enjoy a blended family with 4 children - Tyler (21), Violet (16), Gabriella (14), and Taryn (14). You can often find her trying to stay young while playing soccer with the kids. They enjoy days in Tahoe, camping and traveling. The kids' sports keep them busy and are proud of all their kids accomplishments. Angee enjoys running, biking and swimming.
Marilyn Bolanos - Assistant Director
Marilyn started working at Judy's Kidz Klub in 2015 when shewas just 20 years old. She never expected to fall in love with a job so much so that even after she left she came back. She has learned a lot throughout the years of working here about how to create memories and have a positive impact on children. Working with kids brings her joy. During summer she gets to do all the fun activities that a lot of people wish they could do. When Marilyn came back, she joined us as Assistant Director and plans on helping Judy's grow in our community.
When she is not working she likes to go on hikes, hangout with her fur baby Charlez, and spend quality time with her family. She also enjoys traveling, especially to tropical locations.
